30 Years2019 marks THIRTY years of reforestation work with our Haitian partners, CODEP. It is a time to celebrate!

For 30 years, the rural Haitians of CODEP have been terracing the mountainsides, growing seedlings, transplanting them to their permanent home, and protecting them as they grow into full sized trees. The results are extraordinary. According to the Animators, 14 million trees have been planted in the ground while an estimated 12 million are still growing despite disease, drought, and feral goats. 5578 acres of land have been reclaimed and 750 people are ready to celebrate their odds-defying accomplishment.
