As the year draws to a close and we reflect on all that 2025 has brought, we want to pause and say two simple words:

Gardens were grown.
Fruit trees took root.

This was not an easy year in Haiti.
Political instability, hunger, and, most recently, Hurricane Melissa challenged our communities in ways few can imagine. But through it all, the people of CODEP showed up—every day—to care for seedlings, restore land, and rebuild what was lost.
And you were with them.
Thanks to your support:
- 783 CODEP workers received hurricane relief.
- Dozens of community gardens continued to feed families.
- The Mentorship Program trained a new generation of future leaders.
- Thousands of fruit and forest trees were planted to heal the land.
