It is with great sorrow that I am writing to share the news of the death of Edvy Durandice.

For over 32 years Edvy has been the heart of CODEP, a leader in his community, and a vital partner in the dream of creating a prosperous and verdant Haiti. A modest man, he was trusted and respected by all who knew him.

Yesterday he had trouble breathing and was taken to the St. Croix hospital. He passed last night.

Edvy leaves a wife, many children and grandchildren, and a broad community of friends in Haiti and in the United States. We will miss him deeply. Our lives have been enriched for having known him.
